The Barrel trailer has been designed and developed by experts from both the trailer and motor factor industries to confront the difficulties relating to the manual handling of 200 litre barrels. In the current climate of increased awareness of Health and Safety in the work place it is essential to address the issues of transporting heavy and potentially hazardous goods. We believe we have made the ultimate trailer to transport 200 litre barrels both on and off the highway. The trailer is designed to load the barrel while in the upright position and once secured to the trailer using two ratchet straps can be pivoted to horizontal for transportation. The trailer is then easily attached to the towing vehicle and includes all the necessary road lights and reflectors for its safe, legal and straight forward transportation. Once on site the trailer is balanced in such a way allowing the driver to use as a hand trolley manually manoeuvring the barrel into place then returning it to vertical to safely unload from the trailer.
